The XJ Music founders pool
The studio’s own ledger, published as booked: 14,772 hours, 13,012 points, $117,825 in cash paid. Every number is hours times a rate you can check.
XJ Music publishes its founders pool as proof the model is real: every hour in the table below earned points at the same rate, and ownership is simply your points divided by the pool. The founder’s line is named by choice; every other contributor is a stable pseudonym until that person gives written consent to appear by name.
This ledger is the studio’s own receipt in a longer, standing argument — that ownership can be arithmetic instead of negotiation. Each time it updates, the change ships with a short post on that vein.

The columns are the whole story. Hours logged on a Schedule — a fixed pair of a cash rate and a points-per-hour rate elected when someone joins. Cash paid is hours times the cash rate; Points is hours times the points rate; Ownership is points divided by the pool. Nothing is negotiated after the fact, and nothing is hidden behind a blended average — a contributor who worked more than one schedule gets one row per schedule. The machine-readable ledger is the same numbers, so anyone can re-derive every cell.
Three things this table proves that a pitch deck can’t
- The founder’s 76.04% was earned at the same rate as every other stake. 9,894 hours logged, 9,894 points — one point per hour, the identical rate on the top line and on every line beneath it. No founder multiple, no preferred class, no side letter.
- Cash and equity trade in the open. $117,825 in real cash has been paid to collaborators, and every paid dollar bought down the point rate on those hours. The same contributor holds full-rate points from zero-cash hours and reduced-rate points from paid hours — four schedule lines, side by side on one ledger.
- The system survives contact with reality. Ten contributor-schedule lines, five schedules, a decade of work, and not one equity dispute. One table, and every figure in it is hours times a rate — audit it with a calculator.
