Research & IP
You need rigorous, sourced research — or a governed interface to a body of work — built by someone who ships the instrument, not just the slide.
The studio’s research surfaces and IP have standalone value at near-zero marginal cost. IGA is a working video-game market research instrument. The perspective-engine pattern — a rights-gated corpus behind a retrieval-first interface that cites its sources and knows when to abstain — generalizes to estates, authors, and family enterprises. And the patent is a licensable asset in its own right. This door is optionality: small bets, honest metrics, and a clear kill-or-compound decision at every quarterly review.

- Subject titles you choose
- Every claim delivered with its source pinned
- The same rigor that doubles as Fever Tilt’s design syllabus

How it works
A Perspective Engine Pilot leads with the rights work, because the rights-gate is the differentiation:
- Inventory. Every source catalogued with its rights status; canonical works de-duplicated. Exit: a rights-cleared corpus map you can defend.
- Contract the answer. Define what the engine may say, when it must cite, and when it must abstain. Exit: a written answer contract.
- Build retrieval-first. An engine that retrieves and cites before it generates, and refuses when it shouldn’t guess. Exit: it answers with sources — and says “I don’t know” when it should.
- Deploy and evaluate. Hosted, with an eval harness so quality is a number. Exit: a running deployment and a passing eval.
Fit / not-fit
This is for you if
- You’re a publisher or fund doing diligence and want sourced, comparable games data
- You steward an estate, an archive, or a family enterprise and want a governed interface to a life’s work
- You need an answer engine that cites and abstains, not one that confidently makes things up
- You’re building a generative-music system and need to talk about the patent
We're probably not your studio if
- You want a sponsorship that bends the methodology — the firewall is published and fixed
- You want an unsourced “AI research report” with no rights inventory behind it
- You need a chatbot that answers everything confidently, citations optional
- You want to license the patent to use against the studio’s own work
