XJ Music Merch
Wearables & Print Goods
We designed and produced a complete merch line for XJ Music—wearables and print goods that made the brand visible at events and in the real world.
Merch is identity under stress: designs must survive production constraints (thread count, ink limits, material texture) while staying unmistakably “the brand.” We built a small line around the core symbol and logo, then translated digital assets into physical products.
The line includes caps, beanies, tees, patches, stickers, and a cover art poster—each designed to communicate the XJ Music identity across different materials and production methods.
Product design involved preparing artwork for multiple production methods: screen printing, embroidery, vinyl cutting, and digital printing. Each method has its own constraints and required adapted versions of the brand assets.

Other XJ Music projects
The merch line is one surface of a larger XJ Music effort—rooted in a patented adaptive music system, shaped by the brand identity it carries into the physical world, amplified by the promo content that distributed the story across platforms, and sitting alongside the mobile app that brought the engine to handheld devices, the demo scores and cover art that showcase the music itself, the podcast that explores the ideas behind the technology, and the open-source software that puts the full authoring and runtime system in composers’ hands.
